Don’t let the children slip through your fingers
We are so happy to inform you that the Sunday School Board is a blessing to many children all around the world. Though there are hundreds of doors open to us to reach out the children we are not in a position to make use all possible opportunities due to our limited resources (both financial and human). But it is our prayer and wish that the children that we are having in our hands should not slip from our hands. God has given us dedicated missionaries who are capable in leading camps and various Sunday school programs. In the year 2010, Sunday school camps held at Tiruvalla, Manjadi, Trisur-Palakkad and Nilambur were led by our missionaries. These missionaries are appointed in different places to empower our Sunday school children in the word of God as well as to share the Good news to other children in that area.

Brief summary of activities for 2011
By the grace of God, the Centralised Competition 2011 was held in a beautiful manner at Tiruvalla Central Hall on 8th January 2011. It was great to see the children exhibit their talents. 223 children who were qualified in the centre competitions (1st&2nd) competed here in different events such as Solo, Memory verse, Story Telling, Elocution, Group Song, and Bible Quiz. The prizes were distributed to the first three places. We are grateful to God and to all who took effort to participate in the centralised competitions.

VBS directors training was held at at Tiruvalla Central Hall from 1st April 2011 to 2nd April 2011. Theme of this year VBS was ‘’Walk in my Ways”. 52 people attended in this Training and most of them went to different places to direct the VBS.

This year we could conduct VBS at 44 places and share Gospel to around 3200 children through this ministry. Many of the children were from non Christian background and most of the children responded positively. We are thankful to God for all who really contributed this ministry in various ways and do pray for these children that they may sustain in their faith and their decisions.

God helped us to conduct the summer camp from 3rd April to 6th April 2011. Sri. P.U.Thankachan & team (Child Evangelism Fellowship of India) lead the camp in a blessed way. The theme of the camp was “Looking unto Jesus” (Hb.12:2). God used many others as well to instruct our children and lead them to Christ. We are happy to inform you that 392 children attended in that camp. Among them 6 children dedicated their lives for full time ministry and 12 children accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. All children stood up and submit themselves to live for Christ.

Thank you for going through this matters. We expect your earnest prayers and support for the Sunday School Board and the works done through it.

Yours in His service,

Rev. N. M. James
