Prayer Request: Alina Philip
Respected Achens and Church Members,
First off on behalf of the Philip family and the STECI Detroit Parish I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The response that we’ve received from everyone has been unbelievable! I have been getting e-mails from random people that I do not even know from the Gulf, India and here in the US giving us their thoughts and prayers. This has all been really uplifting to the Philip family and STECI Detroit.
As for the condition of Alina, she is doing much much better, by the GRACE of GOD. When she was first taken to the hospital on Wednesday she was in a severe condition. The doctors said she had a fractured pelvis, fractured skull with minor bleeding, and internal bleeding; she also had to wear a neck brace to support her head and neck. That was her initial state, she currently is doing much better. She has been transferred out of the ICU unto a regular floor. When I was at the hospital yesterday (Friday, Oct 26th) they had removed the IV lines, the catheter and the neck brace. Also with the assistance of the physical therapist, Alina walked around for about 10-20 feet; on three different occasions. She also has been put back on a regular diet from the liquid diet; and she has been talking and communicating with everyone.
Even though she’s making a lot of progress, let’s continue to pray for her.
Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart.
