Let your light shine“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 May God help us to be a beacon of light for him and to encourage others to shine their light for God.
Transform my heart“And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.” Ezekiel 11:19,20 Dear God, change my heart of stone and give me a pure heart. I pray that I will be able to trust in the God of my salvation wholeheartedly.
Reflecting God’s goodness“… Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” May God help us to showcase his goodness through our life.
As to the children“And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he recieves.” Hebrews 12:5,6 The Lord recieves us as well as loves us. God equips us to face the challenges and trials in front of us.
Show mercy to the poor“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” Proverbs 19:17 Let us pray to God for His grace so that we can do good and also, help those in need.
A joyful heart“A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.”Proverbs 15:13 When the heart rejoices, the face is cheerful. Let us approach the presence of the Lord Almighty with a cheerful face and a joyful heart. God will give ear to our prayers.
GOD’S LOVE“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”John 3: 16 Jesus Christ died for us on the Cross, in order that we may have eternal life. We are immeasurably precious to God. Hence, let us live lives that are worthy of HIS sacrifice.
TO BE CONTENTED“The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord! May your hearts live forever!” Psalms 22:26Let us submit ourselves into God’s grace, so as to live in contentment and to praise God.
GOD IS OUR REFUGE“You would shame the plans of the poor, but the Lord is his refuge.” Psalms 14:6Let us take shelter in the grace of God, in order to make God our trust and to bring our plans to purpose.
TRUST IN GOD“Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face.” Job 13:15Help me, O Lord, to trust you fully and enable me to live an innocent and pure life. Keep me from falling, when I’m in the midst of trials and pain.
